tesa® 4414 – Reliable and Cost-Effective Surface Protection

tesa® 4414 - Strong Polyethylene Surface Protection Tape tesa® 4414 consists of a UV stabilized polyethylene backing and a high tack, removable acrylic adhesive. The blue translucent color provides a good contrast to surfaces and eases tape detection. The excellent, continuous outdoor stability for up to 6 months allows clean removal in a wide range of protection applications whenever strong resistance against mechanical damage is required. Therefore, it is especially suited for surface protection jobs in transportation sectors such as railway, marine, special vehicles during assembly, storage and transportation. Benefits: • Excellent visibility due to blue translucent color • The high tack adhesive provides good quick stick to a wide range of surfaces • Residue free removable up to 6 months even after continuous outdoor use • Strong polyethylene backing provides good resistance against mechanical damage • Easy to apply due to low backing elongation when unwind • Temperature resistance up to 70°C / 158°F (1h) Main Application: • For temporary masking and protection of coated surfaces such as aluminum, metal, glass and other substrates during assembly, storage and transportation whenever residue free removability is required. • The temperature resistance makes it also suitable for large area masking applications during spray painting with subsequent oven drying up to 70°C / 158°F. VOLZ® TAPES Awarded the Sicher mit System (Safe with a System) Seal of Approval. VOLZ® TAPES has been awarded the "Sicher mit System" (Safe with System) seal of quality by the Berufsgenossenschaft Handel und Warenlogistik (the German Employers’ Liability Insurance Association). The seal of approval confirms the effective implementation of an Occupational Health and Safety Management system (OHSM) by VOLZ® TAPES in compliance with NLF / ILO-OSH 2001 and DIN ISO 45001:2018. The “Sicher mit System” (SmS) Seal recognizes companies whose commitment to occupational safety goes beyond the mandatory level.  It confirms that VOLZ® TAPES’ occupational health and safety management system (OHSM) exceeds the legal requirements for the systematic, organizational integration of occupational health and safety in its operational structure. Those awarded receive a voluntary, detailed independent review of the effectiveness of their company’s OHSM by the BGHW. It requires the company to comply with the applicable OHSM standards and it enables the company to improve occupational safety permanently and systematically. It demonstrates that management understands the topic of occupational safety and that it is an inherent part of VOLZ® TAPES’ corporate philosophy. VOLZ® TAPES take our duties and responsibilities to our employees very seriously. We continuously build upon our OHSM through repeated planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement. Volz Selbstklebetechnik GmbH Change in Leadership

Volz Selbstklebetechnik GmbH change in leadership effective July 1, 2019 As of the first of July 2019, Mario Haselwander sold his corporate shares and decided to step down from his managing role at Volz. He is however remaining active with the company in the capacity of outside sales. Tetiana Benz, the wife of the current managing partner and Chief Executive Officer, Andreas Benz, has acquired Mr. Haselwander’s shares and the new title of partner and CEO. Together, Andreas and Tetiana Benz now hold 100% of the shares in Volz Selbstklebtechnik GmbH. Tetiana Benz is entitled to sole representation and will continue to manage the Import/Export/Customs department while Andreas Benz will continue in his role as managing partner. This succession plan is one that we are confident secures the future of Volz and ensures our ability to remain focused on and committed to the interests of all our employees, customers, partners and suppliers. Mario Haselwander will be working from his home office, focusing his efforts on outside sales. His telephone and email contact information remain the same. We thank Mario Haselwander for his commitment and work over the last 13 years as CEO and we are grateful that Volz, our customers, and partners will continue to benefit from his dedication in sales. We look forward to our continued collaboration and the ongoing success of Volz Selbstklebetichnik GmbH.

We are AEO certified!

On 29.01.2018 we became AEO certified! An AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) is a particularly reliable and trustworthy. Reliability is evaluated according to the following criteria: • Compliance with customs and tax regulations • Maintaining a satisfactory accounting system • Solvency • Appropriate safety standards The aim of AEO certification is to secure the integrated international supply chain from the manufacturer of a product all the way to the end consumer. The condition for an authorized economic operator is that: • Goods are produced, stored, processed or loaded at secure production sites and at secure transfer locations. • Goods are protected against unauthorized access during production, storage, processing or handling, loading and transport. • The personnel employed to produce, store, process or transport, and discharge such goods are reliable • Business partners acting on our behalf are aware that they must also take measures to safeguard the above supply chain.

Award “unbehindert miteinander” (Barrier Free With One Another)

Award "unbehindert miteinander" (“Barrier Free With One Another”) VOLZ® TAPES was awarded this special award on the 22nd of November 2018, for exemplary work in creating a barrier free, handicapped accessible work environment. Andreas Benz, VOLZ® TAPES CEO, accepted the award as part of a ceremony by the “unbehindert miteinander” program’s sponsor, District Administrator Frank Scherer.  Thirty-nine companies, institutions and municipalities received the award for corporate responsibility, the promotion of people with disabilities, and the committed participation in creating a barrier-free society. The award is provided especially to those organizations that: Provide barrier-free service, Build a barrier free environment, or renovate to remove existing barriers, Create and maintain a corporate culture for ALL, taking on Corporate Social Responsibility, And, most importantly, employ people with disabilities.
