Storage Conditions
The Rolls should be stored in their packaging protected from light and at a temperature between 15°C to 24°C, with a relative humidity of 50% +/- 30%. When using an adhesive tape stored below 15°C, it is advisable to keep the tape at room temperature for 24 hours to preserve its characteristics.
volzElektro 5017 is a self-amalgamating insulating adhesive tape made of silicone rubber. Suitable for protecting and repairing medium-voltage cable terminations, and as a protective layer against flowing oil and grease for impregnated cable connections. volzElektro 5017 can also be used for a variety of household repairs, e.g. broken pipes, handles, repairing frayed ropes and much more.
