Intertape® 4564 consists of an absorbent, synthetic fleece carrier with a zone coated acrylic adhesive. The tape is free from corrosive substance and withstands impregnating varnishes and lacquers. The porous area without adhesive allows the impregnating fluids to pass through, avoiding air entrapment. The impregnated and cured tape provides a high insulating barrier. Intertape® 4564 becomes an integral part of the cured impregnating resin. It is supplied with a release liner and is UL listed.
Applications
- Coil wrapping
- Tabbing
- Anchoring
- Affixing glass fabrics during injection molding
Benefits
- The breakdown voltage will increase after being impregnated with varnish or lacquer.
The Rolls should be stored in their packaging protected from light and at a temperature between 18°C to 24°C, with a relative humidity of 40% to 50%. When using an adhesive tape stored below 18°C, it is advisable to keep the tape at room temperature for 24 hours to preserve its characteristics.
