Intertape® 4237 is a PET Film / glass filament reinforced electrical tape. High tensile strength, conformable PET Film coating with an aggressive adhesive for a variety of heavy duty insulating, banding and holding applications. A 1.0 mil PET Film provides puncture, edge tear, and abrasion resistance. This tape is very resistant to chemicals, solvents and aging, and offers high dielectric strength and insulation resistance.
Applications
- Lead and saddle tie down
- Bundling motor and transformer coils
- Coil covering applications
The Rolls should be stored in their packaging protected from light and at a temperature between 18°C to 24°C, with a relative humidity of 40% to 50%. When using an adhesive tape stored below 18°C, it is advisable to keep the tape at room temperature for 24 hours to preserve its characteristics.
