Applications
- On gold fingers for protection in wave soldering
- Ground barrier and phase insulation in high performance torroidal coils
- Outer wrap on small bobbin wound coils and on form wound coils for traction motors
- Core and inter-layer insulation in tranformers
- Final bandaging of coils
- Taping of coreless coils
- Contact protection against current carrying conductors
Benefits
- Good resistance to most alcohols, esters, ketones and oils
- Can be removed in one piece without residue after exposure to high temperatures
- Reinforced cover provides higher resistance to shearing, shearing forces and abrasion
- Chemically resistant
- Excellent electrical insulating properties
- Flame retardant
- Short-term thermoresistant up to 260°C
- Very high breakdown voltage
The Rolls should be stored in their packaging protected from light and at a temperature between 15°C to 24°C, with a relative humidity of 50% +/- 30%. When using an adhesive tape stored below 15°C, it is advisable to keep the tape at room temperature for 24 hours to preserve its characteristics.
