Intertape® 4627 is a Glass Cloth Electrical Tape. Woven fibreglass backing imparts high temperature resistance and thermal stability and offers outstanding abrasion resistance for a large number of applications. This tape offers high adhesion and resistance to tearing. Also a rubber thermosetting adhesive system gives the tape excellent solvent resistance.
Applications
- Coil insulation wrap
- Relay coverings
- PRotective insulating wrap on solenoid coils
- Splicing on electrical transmission lines
- For motor repair shops for bundling and banding heavy gauge magnet wire
The Rolls should be stored in their packaging protected from light and at a temperature between 18°C to 24°C, with a relative humidity of 40% to 50%. When using an adhesive tape stored below 18°C, it is advisable to keep the tape at room temperature for 24 hours to preserve its characteristics.
