Intertape® 4238 is a PET Film / glass filament reinforced electrical tape. High tensile strength, conformable backing with aggressive adhesive for a variety of heavy duty insulating and holding applications. A 1.4 mil PET Film gives high Puncture resistance, high abrasion resistance and resistance to edger tear. This tape is very resistant to chemicals, solvents and aging, and offers high dielectric strength and insulation resistance.
Applications
- Lead and saddle tie down
- Bundling motor and transformer coils
- Coil covering applications
The Rolls should be stored in their packaging protected from light and at a temperature between 18°C to 24°C, with a relative humidity of 40% to 50%. When using an adhesive tape stored below 18°C, it is advisable to keep the tape at room temperature for 24 hours to preserve its characteristics.
