Polyester (PET) film backing with a silicone adhesive. Designed to perform in difficult masking operations such a various phases of printed circuit board (PCB) production or masking of surfaces during application of durable powder coatings. PET backing provides flexibility/conformability, solvent resistance, and chemical resistance. Removes without leaving residue on surfaces. Precision cut for tear resistance and clean, crisp paint lines.
Applications
- High-Temperature Masking in powder coatings and PCB protective masking
- Splicing operations requiring silicone adhesive
- autoclave flash tape in metal bonding and composites fabrication
Benefits
- Excellent solvent and moisture resistance
- Good flexibility/conformability
- Removes residue-free
- Precision cut for tear resitance and clean, crisp paint lines
The Rolls should be stored in their packaging protected from light and at a temperature between 18°C to 24°C, with a relative humidity of 40% to 50%. When using an adhesive tape stored below 18°C, it is advisable to keep the tape at room temperature for 24 hours to preserve its characteristics.
